GUIDELINES FOR ADDON COURSES
INTRODUCTION
Add-on courses are a component of the curriculum created to provide students the skills they need to succeed in life and to raise their employability quotient.
Many Add-On courses are available from Techno Institute of Higher studies, and they will be taken in ‘reserved time slot’ allotted by respective head of department. These classes will be taught by professionals or in-house faculty/staff and will assist students stand out from the competition in the job market by enhancing their resumes. These Add-On courses will be largely unrelated to any one field type.
OBJECTIVES
Objectives of the Add-On Courses are:
- To provide students a comprehension of the demands of the present socio-economic conditions.
- To increase student’s employment skills.
- To close the skills gap and prepare students for the workplace.
- To give students a chance to develop their inter-disciplinary skills.
- To shape skilled leaders or job providers out of students rather than job seekers.
